Our Joint Mission
Where people learn, people will flourish. That is the mantra of WorkBoost. From the start, our goal is to best support each person in experiencing learning moments on a daily basis. We secure this vision through our enthusiastic and passionate staff and community of professionals, consultants, coaches and teachers. They guarantee the quality and effectiveness of the WorkBoost method and software and ensure that these evolve along with the latest insights on learning and development. This is why we get out of bed!
Our story
While writing his doctoral dissertation on employee intrapreneurship, Dr. Jason Gawke noted that existing products aimed at promoting and reinforcing employee learning and development behaviors had little scientific foundation. And when these methods were evidence-based, they often relied on intensive survey research and training which detracted from scalability and implementation success. Jason wanted to change this. His approach is simple: it should be fun and provide important statistics to help people with their learning behavior in relation to their goals. After 7 years of research, experimenting with different methods and interviewing more than 100 key stakeholders, he laid the foundation for what is now WorkBoost. WorkBoost was officially established in March 2021:
- Maart 21 Robin en Jason besluiten de handen in één te slaan en gaan de incubator van het Utrecht Inc progamma in
- Juli '21 Eerste MVP gelanceerd en klaar om veel fouten te maken en te leren!
- Maart '22 Eerste ronnde aan funding succesvol opgehaald en klaar om de volgende stap te zetten
- November '22 WorkBoost blijft groeien en ontwikkelen in partners, de community, en in software functionaliteit. Terwijl we groeien in Nederland, lijkt de stap over de grens dichterbij te komen!
- Januari '23 Las Vegas here we come! Op handelsmissie met het Ministerie van Economische Zaken en Koninkrijksrelaties en met de CES 2023 Innovatie opzak gaan we ook de markt in Amerika opschudden!
